Ahaha, seriously. No joke, dude. Yeah, my room's kind of in the same place; it gets the coldest in the winter, && it's the hottest in the summer. Augh. Really... stick it to Al Gore, yeah? Ahaha.

Airconditioning is a saviour, seriously :) I don't know what I'd do without it. Especially because the curtains/blinds in my room aren't very good and often let a lot of heat/sun in :( Though days here are very weird, Melbourne has some pretty crazy weather. Some morning it'll be freeeeeeezing then by midday it's soaring heat. Damn global warming :P

Oh wow! I honestly didn't know it would get that cold in Australia. Haha. I guess I just always assumed that it was constantly hot! hehe. Oh wow, yeah that is pretty hot. That's about the same as 97 farenheit. Woo. It gets that hot here too. OH boy. Thank God for air conditioning, yeah? :D

I live in Melbourne, kinda down the bottom of Australia. Ahaha yeah, parts do get really cold, the only place that doesn't get cold is the desert-ish area in the middle of Australia but other than that yeah.. in Melbourne it can get pretty cold but never cold enough for snow, though it gets really really hot in the middle of summer.. sometimes around 45+ degrees celcius haha I dunno if that'll make sense to you cause I dunno how to convert it to Fahrenheit :P

Hehehehe. Yeah, snowdays are awesome. (: What part of Australia do you live in? Do parts of Australia really get cold? Ahhaha, I know I must sound INCREDIBLY ignorant.. lol But I really don't know a whole lot about "the land down under". :P

Aww, snow days! You're lucky, The city where I am it doesn't snow, ever. It's only ever once snowed for a couple hours like in the 1950's :( If I wanna see snow it's about a 4 - 5 hour drive, so yeah I been in snow :( Grr ahah I wanna move somewhere colder :)

MMyeah, good point. It is REALLY hard to go back to school after such a long break. But it's not tooooo horrible. I DO wish we had a few more breaks to look forward to during the year. But oh well. :P Since I live in a place that gets a lot of snow though, we DO get snowdays every now && then which is always fun. (:
At least I only have one year left of this torture they call High School.
Ahaha.
:D

I guess I prefer the way I'm with now - it's handy having small 2 week breaks in between. I reckon if I had to start getting used to just 3 months then nothing, it'd be really hard and I'd probably crack from the thought of not having any breaks till the next three months come along :P But I guess that's only really because it's not what I'm used to ahah.

Posted by Jennifer on Jan 14, 08 2:40 am

Yeah... which would you rather have though? 3 months, or 1 month with the groups of breaks in between?
Ugh, I just saw that last comment.
SAME BOAT, dude! I have a paper that's due on Mon- er, tomorrow. lol && it's still only partly done. Woop. Ahaha. I wish I didn't procrastinate, either. It's annoying. :P
lol

Well I guess it's not too bad, getting little breaks in between haha :D

Posted by Jennifer on Jan 13, 08 6:13 pm

Oh wow- that IS complicated! So do you like having your breaks split like that?
Well that's good. I had a really nice break too... we had some family in town &&... yup I think that's about it.
Hehe.

Lol! Well it's sort of hard to explain, you guys get 3 months off for the summer right? We don't get that long, only about a month, then three 2 week breaks at other times during the year. It's not too bad :P
My Christmas was alright, went to some relatives places for lunch and yeah hah and yourself?

Posted by Jennifer on Jan 12, 08 3:13 am

Ahhh!
It just kind of dawned on me that you probably get a longer Christmas break because it's summer there for you! OHHHHH! It all makes so much more sense now! lol So is that why? Or am I just incredibly stupid?
Ahaha.
:P

Ahhh, that is sooo not fair! :D Yeah, I have another friend who lives in Australia, so I knew she wasn't back in school yet. Aggghh, I'm soo jealous! :P lol Mine went really well too. How was your Christmas?
